Arriving from South Wales also ATOMÇK who have been terrorising all parts of the world since 2006 will come to tear your eardrums. Technical, hyper fast grind core with sludge/noisecore/electronic interludes and an international line-up, where the drums are handled by nobody else than by the cunning Marzena (HIBAKUSHA etc.). A hammer for the fans of AGORAPHOBIC NOSEBLEED or PIG DESTROYER.
Bio
ATOMÇK formed in 2006, beginning life a digital-grind project that mixed searing drum machines with heavy guitar abuse, screaming and harsh noise. At this point the band was a duo consisting of LINUS on vocals/noise and LUKE on guitar. In this lineup they began playing gigs and releasing free music online to very little interest.
Gradually ATOMÇK became more and more of a live concern and after supporting INSECT WARFARE in Cardiff they were approached by Czech drummer Marzena (Hibakusha) who offered to join the band and complete the change to a full live grinding beast.
In 2010 ATOMÇK stepped up their gig schedule, supporting many international grind bands (including WORMROT, CATHETER, BLOODY PHOENIX) and then went on a UK tour. A split 7” with Chicago's mincecore troop PAUCITIES will be out very shortly, and that will be followed by a release on J Randall's GRINDCORE KARAOKE label.
