It’s an extreme metal band labeled as “Slamming Death Grind Metal”. Their songs talk about usual themes in grind, as, for instance, massacre, but giving it a whole new spin, directing their themes to vegetables. Lyrics are memorable, using the classic “bree”, and their riffs, powerful, are preserved in the mind for multiple days. Influences: Devourment, Cannibal Corpse, Carcass, Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga. Recommended tracks: “Stay breeee”, “Circle Pig”, “Cockoroch!” Biography: Cockoroch is a Slamming Death Grind Metal band that was born as an alternative and casual project in which the musicians that are part of it swap their instruments, exploring their skills and bringing an effective and direct musical idea. The band has played in multiple cities in Spanish’ geography, as in other countries, such as Portugal or the United Kingdom (Cardiff and Manchester). Cockoroch has also accompanied big bands such as Brujería o Napalm Death, thus showing the true potential of the band. They’ve also been well positioned in 2019’s edition of Wacken Open Air Metal Battle. In 2016, their debut album, called “Goregreen” was released. They then published Vegecide in 2018 and Vegecide 7.0 in 2020. During the second half of 2021, Cockoroch performed in Murcia, at Sala Spectrum, breaking their silence after the pandemic, accompanied by Homizide and Murdery. Currently, the band’s plans are to keep playing in and out of their city. Cities: Murcia, Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester (UK), Cardiff (UK), Castelo Branco (Portugal).
