Fired by smalltown hypocrisy and provincial bullshirt,
Brazilian powerviolence unit CÄTÄRRO were driven to hit the road and spread
their hard-grinding aggression - covering almost all of Brazil in 2008, their
momentum was cut short by lineup changes in 2009 and 2010.
Eager to make up for lost time, the punk-as-fuck fourpiece
are rampaging across Brazil and Europe, from the Netherlands and France, to the
almighty OBSCENE EXTREME 2013, in support of their all-new 7”.
Bio
Cätärro is a powerviolence / grindcore band from Mossoró,
Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. Activities started in 2003 in a provincial town
that was blinded and sickened of his sound ugly and aggressive. Launch their
demo in 2004 and subsequent years they released some splits and make several
trips to the northeast, covering almost the entire region. In 2008 Cätärro
released their first album and went to tour for almost all of Brazil. Suffer in
the years 2009 and 2010 with the inconstancy of guitar players. In 2013 they
released a 7" and follow by an extensive tour of Brazil and several
European countries.
