Bio
Rising from the ashes of defunct tech metal band The Colour Pink Is Gay, GENDO IKARI formed in 2016 playing fast and aggressive music. With a passion for loud music, blast beats and speed, the four piece manage to capture grind, death metal, sludge and noise rock in their sound. Originally starting as a homage to Discordance Axis, the band's sound evolved to be cathartic, punishing and violent as possible.
Based in the central belt of Scotland, the band has shared the stage with Full Of Hell, Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Coilguns and Yacopse. A regular at Scottish grind shows, the band has also played at Break The Chains in Leeds, Ghoulstock in Belfast and at the Glasgow screening of Slaves To The Grind. GENDO IKARI have a 3 way split coming in 2020 and are writing their debut LP this year.
