Formed at Kyoto City in 1990, WARHEAD is one of the few bands still active under the direct tradition of second wave Japanese Hardcore Punk groups as DEATHSIDE, TETSU ARREY, PILEDRIVER, BASTARD、RAPES, NIGHTMARE etc.

Throughout their cult underground existence as the same generation as AI, ZONE, ACCOMPLICE, GESHPENST, their sound is famous for the mixture of Jackhammer-ish harsh & traditional Japanese~thrash hardcore and Japanese punk rock with Jun's shrieking vocals, drummer Klingon's power surge beats, guitarist Ebuchi's thick distortion anger, and new bass player Satoru(ex- ORGANISM)'s drilling bass lines summed up to the most intense, in your face, die hard, TRUE Japanese Hard Core Punk mayhem as it could be.

Locally organizing the gig "Smash Your Chains" constantly contributing massively to the Japanese punk scene, the band also experienced some overseas tour as U.S,  U.K, Australia, Europe etc with their tour mates FORWARD, F.U.K, TETSU ARREY etc....and this time finally attacks Obscene Extreme 2019!
