There are few grindcore bands who can boast much of a following outside of the genre, but Colorado deathgrinders CEPHALIC CARNAGE are most definitely one of those bands, winning over all corners with their technical brand of groove-fired brutality and fierce, incisive sense of humour.

Though they formed in 1992, they've only released six albums, but what they lack in quantity they make up for in diversity – sprinkling albums with flamenco guitar, surf rock, doom-inspired dirges, and their infamous parodies of metalcore and black metal.

CEPHALIC CARNAGE are the perfect party band – check out the video of them playing 'Eye Of The Tiger' when a fight kicks off in the pit, and be assured that even if the show goes wrong at OBSCENE EXTREME 2012, these hard-smoking weed-grinders will get the best out of it.
