Escarnium is one of the main names of the "new" generation of the Brazilian death metal scene.

Since its inception I the year of 2008, in the city od Salvador, Brazil, the band has been consistently on the road. Touring Europe six times, Mexico twice as well as their homeland, Brazil. Always headlining and drawing the attention of fans of Dark Brutal Death metal music.

Throughout the years, the band has shared stage with lots of forefathers of the genre, prominent bands like Suffocation, Vader, Benediction, Incantation, among many apparitions in renowned festivals with bands like Krypts, Corpsessed, Undergang, Bolzer and Grave Miasma.

Escarnium delivers a brand of brutal, obscure and intense old school death metal, but succeeds I its complete update with new recording elements and other genres trademarks. Escarnium can easily bring you to a darkened musical experience, fullifing the existential void with crust like D-beats, blast beats and atmospheric black metal oriented moments.
