Kdo nezná tuhle kapelu, tak se zřejmě nevyzná v grind core scéně. Máme za to, že PRETTY LITLLE FLOWER aka P.L.F. jsou jedním ze základních kamenů současné celosvětové grind scény. Za svoji již dvacetiletou existenci stihli nahrát osm alb a se svým zuřivým thrashem načichlým grind výsypem objeli doslova celý svět.
Jejich poslední tuzemské trutnovské vystoupení je již pěkně zaváté prachem a oblepené pavučinami – rok 2006! I když značce Obscene Extreme Festivalu jsou věrni dlouhodobě, což dokazuje jejich dvojité vystoupení na OEF America 2015. Vězte tedy, že tyhle texaské „květinky“ znovu rozemelou vše živé v roce 2020 na Obscene Extreme Festivalu v Trutnově!!!
Bio
PLF was formed in January 1999, as a crusty grindcore band in Houston, TX. Few releases were made in the first 5 years, besides a couple of splits and an EP, but 4 or 5 tours of the US were organized. The focus was more on playing live back then.
Refining their style as the years went on, a thrash metallic influence became more and more prevalent in the guitar playing, especially on the mid-paced parts. This is noticeable on their first LP, "Pulverizing Lethal Force", which was released after 8 years of existence.
In 2011, the original drummer(who was one of the 2 founding members of the band, along with the current guitarist) left the band, and was replaced by Bryan from Noisear / Kill the Client , etc. in time for the band's third European tour. The change of drummer brought about somewhat of an inevitable stylistic shift, with the group becoming faster and slightly more refined, overall, but still playing straightforward grind. With this lineup, the band has since recorded 3 more full lengths, among a handful of splits.
All in all, after 20 years, PLF has had three people on guitar, two drummers, five different bassists, released 5 LP's, eleven split EP's, three split LP's, one split 5", one full-length 7", and one collection CD. They have toured the US 8 times, Europe 5 times, Japan once, Mexico once , and played in Canada several times.
Obscene Extreme 2020 will be the second time PLF has played the fest in Czech, with the first time having been in 2006. They are honored and very excited to be a part of such a great festival!
