AARGH FUCK KILL, neboli A.F.K.
Zkuste jejich třetí a zatím poslední desku „Another Pair of Eyes“, protože je to metalpunkový parní válec!!! Jojo, na Bojišti se bude chlastat a pařit!!!
Bio
In the year 2014, in the city of Hamburg, four guys named Sven, Bela, Moe and Hannes were sitting around in their usual spot, the famous DIY record store Fischkopp. Like any other day, the time was spent drinking, ordering records, and impressing each other with trivia and fun facts about every punk, metal and hardcore band known to humankind. Between the four of them, they had more knowledge about the topic than anyone should ever need to possess. This somewhat drunken ritual was repeated, day in and day out, causing feelings of deja vu to happen frequently. It was getting old and weird. It was time to mixit up and hold off, at least tone down, these informal meetings and save it for the retirement home. The time had come to put all their theory into action and form a band. With their good looks, magnificent crust punk attire and beautiful hairdos, they were halfway there already, lets be honest. They grabbed some instruments, hit the basement, and after trying and failing until their fingers bled and livers cried, they finally found the right recipe. AFK was born.Over-rehearsed and under-showered they promptly recorded their first demo “Bad Mood Rising”. Then they hit the stage for their very first show at the world famous Onkel Otto bar, receiving rave response from the excited crowd of loaded oddballs. After a bunch of shows here andthere, in 2015 they teamed up with G.A.U. from Berlin and went on the road to Belgium and the Netherlands. By the end of the year theyrecorded their fantastic 1st LP “Modern Warfare”, which was releasedin early 2016. The same year they kicked ass at the Fusion festival. In 2017 they ruled the stage at Bike Wars during K-Town Fest inCopenhagen. Then they hit the studio again and recorded their s/t EP, to great fanfare from the fans. As one guy put it; “My hernia is healed and my cat can only meow backwards now.” In 2018 they played Frost Punx Festival, and then went on a booze-driven, yet highly successful mini-tour of Scandinavia, which some people are still recovering from. But we all know the saying, what happens in Scandinavia, stays in Scandinavia, so let's move on, shall we? They played the Paranoya Festival 2018 and some more shows before flying off to sunny Mallorca to record their 2nd album “Ruled by the Insane”, which was released in 2019. Hannes got a taste for the warmer climate and left for Spain, and new drummer Andi joined the band before a mini-tour with Asocial Distortion in East Germany and Czech Republic. In 2020 shit hit the fan as we all know, no shows and no fun, so theband mostly worked on writing new material before they finally hit thestudio in spring of 2021 and recorded their 3rd LP “Another Pair OfEyes”. They also did a no-audience show and interview, live streamedfrom the MS Stubnitz. In 2022 they played FrostPunx festival again andsome more gigs, they released “Another Pair Of Eyes” on Ruin NationRecords, and went on tour in Belgium, Netherlands, France andSwitzerland.
AFK has shared the stage with the likes of Doom, Long Knife, Lobotomia, Chain Whip, Bootlicker, and so on.
You don't wanna miss out on these guys! What they lack in personal hygiene they make up for in audible yet marvelous chaos. AFK is a beautiful, studded, intoxicating beast of a band, so go fucking enjoy it you twats!
