One of the first band that occupies the line up of Obscene Extreme 2023 is the well known MASTIC SCUM!!! A band that already played at the first legendary OEF in 1999 and still hold the banner of extreme metal at our Austrian neighbours.
MASTIC SCUM have come a long way since their beginnings and their music, although based on true grindcore, absorbs modern influences of hardcore and perhaps even metalcore, but their wall of sound sounds like a huge steamroller, uncompromisingly rolling over pile of scrap!!!
MASTIC SCUM just released a new album "Icon" with a modern sound that will rip your head off!!! Is grindcore going in a new direction? The quartet MASTIC SCUM will answer us!!! At OEF 2023!!!
