AVERNAL is one of the pioneering extreme metal acts in the Argentinian region of Buenos Aires. The band was formed in 1993 playing originally an old-school death metal later evolving into a perfect combination of death metal and death & roll mixed with heavy grooving parts and dark melodies.
They released their debut album AVERNAL back in 1997 and their last eight album called "Tzompantli" in 2020. All of the band’s lyrics are done in Spanish and they are typical for the Latin American bands – about rebellion against a corrupt society, politics and death.
