EXTREME CRUST CORE MANIFEST!!! Another band that will have it's premiere at Obscene Extreme festival will be American WAR//PLAGUE!!! The four apocalyptic riders, who were formed in 2008 and are one of the most active bands, after all they have thirteen records to their credit and some of them belong to the pool of truly legendary ones such as the split with Axegrinder and news going by that their next big record is in sight.
WAR//PLAGUE delivering great crustcore with a touch of horror and dark metal atmosphere in a great and catchy disbeat tempo!!! Absolutely sensational music to the frantic pogo under the stage!!! The black horse of OEF 2025? That could be WAR//PLAGUE!!!
Bio
Hailing from the frigid Minneapolis wastelands, WAR//PLAGUE are among the most proactive bands in the local, national and international hardcore punk, crust and thrash communities. While pushing the envelope with their ever-evolving sound, these Minneapolis stalwarts know their roots, and the underbelly of the hardcore punk and crust movement has fueled them since day one.
Forming in early 2008 and with 13 releases to date, War//Plague continue their dedication as they bring unrelenting socio/political rage and ferocity to their music. With numerous releases and a dedicated work ethic, there is no end in sight for these veteran Minneapolis thrashers!
WAR//PLAGUE recently crossed their 16th anniversary threshold in 2024 with a catalog that includes split releases with some legendary bands such as WARWOUND, AXEGRINDER and more. WAR//PLAGUE is in for the long haul.
