HIGH GRINDCORE VOLTAGE!!! And once again, proper old school grindcore!!! PERPETUAL - guys from far away Malaysia fulfill the word old school to the fullest. Grindcore influenced by nothing but classics of the genre like early Napalm Death or Agathocles. PERPETUAL was formed in 1995, so they are no newcomers and you can definitely hear it in their music, because here we get both, great grindcore blastbeats and energetic d-beat rhythms, all in a very wild package!!!
Check out their latest album "What a Cruel World" , it's definitely worth it and you will hear maybe the best of Malaysian grindcore on it!!! PERPETUAL will have their premiere at Obscene Extreme and in Europe in general, so let's show them that grindcore has no boundaries and support them with a proper moshpit!!!
Bio
Perpetual was a Grindcore band from Sabah, Malaysia formed in 1995 by Zam and Zull. They took inspiration from Napalm Death, Carcass, BrutalTruth, Terrorizer, Nasum, Sepultura and Fear Factory. The band has released several of reh.tape, demo and split tape/cd. They played many gig/shows and tour in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Japan. So far, they had released 2 full length album and 3 Ep's. New special album is under process for the 30th years anniversary in 2025. Perpetual latest lineup is Zam-Bass/Vocal, Endeng-Guitar/Vocals and new live secessionist for the drums. Perpetual continue to maintain the Grindcore concept even as we insert progressive elements into their new and upcoming music. Perpetual lyrics are themed on social, global, life, and conspiracy issues. It is wiser and more meaningful to fight for positive things for the good of fellow human beings.
