DEATH METAL BATTLE ON THE BATTLEFIELD!!! From the land of our counterparts Australia we know mostly great grindcore records, but this time it will be different. 100 YEARS WAR is the ultimate death metal roller!!! Formed in 2019, but they are definitely not youngsters, because 100 YEARS WAR consists of members of Vicious Circle, Desecrator, Butcher ABC, or Cemetery Urn, so we can consider these guys as veterans of the scene.

Their death metal sound spiced with d beat rhythm is like being run over by a tank!!! That's how intense the music of 100 YEARS WAR sounds!!! Check out their debut "Stand Against the Fallen" and hear for yourself. There is a new record on the way and the quintet will bring it to OEF 2025!!! Into the trenches - 100 YEARS WAR are coming!!!

Bio

100 YEARS WAR D-Beat Death Metal Crust from Melbourne, Australia. Assembled in 2019 from the darkest corners of Australia’s underground, 100 YEARS WAR deliver a savage mix of old school Death Metal and D-Beat Crust. After countless campaigns on home soil and multiple manoeuvres in the Orient, 100 YEARS WAR are embarking on their first European conquest in 2025.

Featuring current and ex members of VICIOUS CIRCLE, DESECRATOR BUTCHER ABC, CEMETERY URN, DEAD ROOT AND AS FLESH DECAYS. 100 YEARS WAR are seasoned veterans of the Australian underground music scene and beyond.

100 YEARS WAR first performed live at Brewtality Fest in Melbourne mid-2019 and quickly make their way to Japan for the subsequent 2nd, 3rd and 4th shows with Belgium’s CARNATION and an appearance at ASAKUSA DEATH FEST (PESTILENCE, NECROT, COFFINS).

While Covid unfortunately put a stop to the international touring planned for 2020, 2021 and 2022, focus was put onto Australian shows and festivals, playing alongside international and Australian bands such as, REVOCATION, PSYCROPTIC, ABRAMELIN, HIDDEN INTENT, MISERY, DARK HORSE and REMAINS.

In 2022 100 YEARS WAR released the debut album STAND AMONGST THE FALLEN recorded at Black Lodge in Melbourne and Unisound (Dan Swano) in Sweden.

In early 2023 100 YEARS WAR teamed up Japan’s BUTCHER ABC for an Australian Tour. And then in November 2023 100 YEARS WAR returned to Japan for a double appearance at ASAKUSA DEATH FEST 2024 (PUNGENT STENCH, BUTCHER ABC, UNHOLY GRAVE, GORE BEYOND NECROPSY, etc) then back to Australia to play main support for Pungent Stench’s only Melbourne show.

2024 has been purposely quiet, playing just a handful of select shows locally and interstate while preparing for album 2, set for release early 2025.
