FOR THE LAST TIME!!! Everything has a beginning and an end. This almost "home-grown" band has played at Obscene Extreme at least five times, not only at Battlefield, but also at the American version of the festival. It is none other than the well-known French grinders INHUMATE!!! Formed in 1990, they have declared themselves to be finished in 2025, when they will grind us for the last time on the OEF stage with their furious take of great grindcore music.

So after 35 years of underground career it will be over. The end of a band that has written in golden letters in the annals of music, those with crossed notes and those who will be truly missed!!! But there is no time for tears, but let's enjoy them once more at full throttle!!! Thank you INHUMATE!!! You will not be forgotten!!!

Bio

Inhumate is born in 1990, on the impulse of death-starvingbassist Fred. First noises and screams of this angry newborn have been heard between 1990-1994 before its first stable line-up with David on guitars, Yannick on drums and Christophe as the beast's vocalist. For the next 15 years, this 4-piece creature explored its own death/grind path through Europe with extreme live performances and built its studio heptalogy concept: 7 albums will be self-produced, not one more not one less, each one exploring the different stages from our birth to our death - and beyond. Internal Life (1996), Ex-Pulsion (1997), Growth (2000), Life (2004) are the milestones of this first era.

In 2006, the beast evolves: Damien is now on the guitars for Inhumate's second life. Alongside with The Fifth Season (2009), Expulsed (2013) and Eternal Life (2021), the live stage trip goes on beyond Europe (Cuba, Russia, Japan, Canada). Overall, 17 countries have been grinded and, most importantly, countless sick fans shared our stage trance everywhere. During these 3 decades, Inhumate never got involved with any kind of label, endorsment or crowdfunding de merde: just 4 handworkers of grind doing what they love the way they want it, period.

And now… the end is near. Inhumate will disband in the end of 2025. 35 years dedicated to the underground extreme scene with no chance of ridiculous come back ! Musick with no ethics is the ruin of soul.
