Trachoma is a Brazilian band founded in 2019 from the combination of the sick and creative minds of Rafaela Begore and J:hales Gory, who used to play together in other projects like Commando F.U.C.K. The band plays surgical and purulent goregrind music while flirting with d-beat and death metal. The lyrics address the universe of pathologies and the golden age of trash cinema.

Trachoma's debut album - "Parasite Worm Infestation" - was recorded in 2019 at Sotao studio in Sao Paulo and released by Old Grindered Days Records (BRA). In the same year, the band released a split with Bolar, --stench of Deformed Carcass", Rectal Purulence Label (MEX).

Their full album, - "Surgical Methods for Infectious Diseases", was released in 2020 by Old Grindered Days in CD format and cassette tape by Strangulatrion Recorids (COL), which were well received by goregrind zines and media all over the world. In 2020, the band released the split with the classic gorenoise band Pancreatite Necro Hemorragica.

The band shared stage with big names like Napalm Death (t.JK), Dead Congregation (GRE), Birdflesh (SWE), RAN (FRA), Medium (ARG) and also great brazilian bands like Crypta, Rot, Gore and Flesh Grinder.

The second full album "In slow decomposition.. We rot! will be released in 2025 by Grand Vomit Productions (USA), so expect for heavy and downtunned (de)compositions.
