One of the last bands announced for OEF 2023 will be the heavyweight trio of pathological grindcore, SICK SINUS SYNDROME!!! A band that is very young but made up of deserving artists of the Czech extreme scene and great friends and supporters of Obscene Extreme, Bilos, Jürgen and Hary. Their first release "Rotten to the Core" from 2021 really stirred the waters of not only Czech rotten extreme scene with its stale old school sound!!! SICK SINUS SYNDROME is currently preparing their second full album and it will be new record, released after many years on Obscene Productions and definitely expect crushing pathological grindcore in the best tradition of the style!!!
Downtuned guitars, bulldozer instead of bass, psychopathological drums and a gurgler that will rip your ears from the inside!!! SICK SINUS SYNDROME sharpen obscene scalpels for the second time!!!
Bio
SICK SINUS SYNDROME is a relatively new (2020) acquisition in the stinky waters of pathological grindcore. The sick trio consists of three veterans of the Czech underground extreme scene, Bilos (Malignant Tumour), Jürgen ( Insistent, Force of Hell, ex...) and Hary (Dobytčí Mor, ex Pathologist). The first big album " Rotten to the Core" was released in 2021 ( LP - F.O.A.D. Records, CD - Bizarre Leprous, KAZETA - Psychocontrol Records) and received quite a warm reception. After a few gigs at very interesting places (Obscene Extreme, Josefoff, Danzig, 007...) a common split 7" EP with French Vomi Noir was released. The beginning of 2023 is marked by the recording of a new album for Obscene Production. This band pays tribute to the pathological grindcore scene of the late 80's and early 90's!!! And this is exactly what it sounds like!!!
Lineup:
Bilos - 6 strings/gurgler
Hary - 4 wires/screamer
Jürgen - pots and lids
