Lucifuge started in 2016 as the one man band project from Equinox, paying tribute to the first wave of Black Metal bands like Venom, Bathory, Hellhammer and Sodom. After releasing the Demo “Ride The Beast” and the LP “Der Antichrist”, Equinox found the maniacs that joined him to bring this songs on stage and hit the road. After the Ride The Beast Tour in 2020, the next album “The One Great Curse” came out and a few months later Equinox went in the studio to write and record “Infernal Power”, which got released on Dying Victims Productions. Just a bit over a year later the next album “Of Night and Lust” came out, as a split MLP with Bunker 66. With this last album the band has found a clear direction of Black Thrash that keeps its roots in the first wave of Black Metal, without being just a Bathory rip off, but adding elements from NWOBHM, Thrash, Speed Metal and Punk.
