Did you know that thrash metal is also played in the Middle East? And not in just any quality. HELLIONIGHT is a trio of old school thrash maniacs who really know how to do it and we're not kidding!!! The speed, aggression and awesome musicianship, is well matched with the leaders of the style like Sodom or Toxic Holocaust, is disarming!!! The mastermind Omar, who OEF fans may know as the former guitarist of Creative Waste, has surrounded himself with two other madmen and put together the "Hellionight" EP that shows who is the leader of the Bahrain thrash movement!!!
Old school thrash/speed which is speeding as formula one on the Bahrain International Circuit, will be welcomed to OEF in Wednesday's "Old school metal forever" program and HELLIONIGHT will show us, that they are no losers but leaders!!! It will be an execution by electric chair!!!
Bio
Inspired by the 80s speed metal era, Hellionight is a raw and violent blast from the past playing high intensityriffs with an in-your-face attitude. The 3-piece plays a mix of blackened thrash and speed metal with a very heavyold school influence.
The band released a self-titled four song EP in 2016 and have since played gigs in Bahrain and in the UAE. Theirmost notable achievement is opening up for the Brazilian thrash metal band 'Nervosa' in Dubai in early 2020.Hellionight's sound is influenced by old school metal legends like Sodom, Venom, Slayer and Motörhead.
