I think that if I copied the editorial from last year it would have just fit this year’s one exactly...So this year, enjoy every single band, every single meeting, every little thing that will put a smile on your face! We only live once, right?

This year we have the biggest selection of bands in OEF history (82!) and I believe we have selected the best that was currently possible. And of course, I will be happy, if you enjoy every extreme band to the maximum. Let’s show our support to them, as we have done for many years, both in the morning at ten and in the evening in prime time! I can tell you without any fabrication or exaggeration that all the bands are incredibly excited about their shows and get ready for the Battlefield in a really special way! That is an amazing appreciation of our festival and the reason the shows at OEF are so unique!!!

I’d like to mention here a little something about ticket prices, beer, food... We are all going through an incredible change and what was true three years ago is no longer true now...our costs have really skyrocketed (some by as much as 100 %!!! ) and we just have to reflect all this in the price of tickets and other things... Believe me, every year we try to prepare the best festival for you for the most affordable price and it will be like that until the end of OEF... I certainly don’t want to cry as we struggle like all other festivals (I would like to mention and repeat that we never asked for any money from the townhall, the region, the EU and the only and main sponsor of the festival is you, the fans of OEF... ) and I can just tell you that so far it looks like, we will next year at the beginning of July, celebrate together 25th anniversary of Obscene Extreme. I am extremely excited because I will also celebrate my 50th birthday with all of you during this festival! It sounds absolutely incredible, a quarter of a century with Obscene Extreme! Thank you all for your support!!!

And remember to respect each other, our crew, our bands, the town and it’s people...let’s show again how great and cohesive our community is, that we have big hearts and are no strangers to decency!!!
