Founded in early 2006 LIFELESS have been performing Traditional Death Metal ever since. In 2007 we recorded our debut album "Beyond The Threshold Of Death" all by ourselves. The mastering was done by Vesa Kenttäkumpu from Swedish Death Metal legends EVOCATION.

In fall 2009 we signed a deal with US based Ibex Moon Records - the label of INCANTATION mastermind John McEntee - on which "Beyond The Threshold Of Death" was officially rereleased in June 2010 including new artwork and bonus track.

In 2011 we parted ways with Ibex Moon Records to get more reputation on the European market. We finally signed a new deal with Germany based FDA RECORDS (Master, Entrails, Deserted Fear, Chapel Of Disease, Revel In Flesh and many more). Our first release on the new label was a split 7inch EP called "Chapel Of A Lifeless Cult" with our label mates CHAPEL OF DISEASE.

In summer 2011 Andy (g.) - one of the founding members of LIFELESS – decided to leave the band due to the lack of time and motivation. He has been replaced by Jan. The second full length album "Godconstruct" was released on 1st of March 2013 and includes 12 songs of total old skull Death fucking Metal!

Besides many club-shows throughout the years alongside bands like DEATH (DTA-Tours), UNLEASHED (Swe), GORGUTS (CAN), GOD DETHRONED (NL), ENTRAILS (SWE), EVOCATION (SWE), DEMONICAL (SWE) and many others we played some great Festivals in 2015 – namely OBSCENE EXTREME FESTIVAL (CZ), PARTY SAN OPEN AIR (D) and SUMMER BREEZE OPEN AIR (D).

In August 2015 we parted ways with our bassist Daniel W. due to musical reasons. He has been replaced by Sascha who was our session bassist before. Jan and Marc got endorsed by SERPENT KING GUITARS – the company of Henri Sattler, guitarist/vocalist of legendary GOD DETHRONED.

In Fall 2015 a new, unreleased song was unleashed upon mankind on the 12inch Split-EP called “Sermon Of Ungodly Dreams” along with our brothers from ARROGANZ, OBSCURE INFINITY and RECKLESS MANSLAUGHTER – released through SUPREME CHAOS RECORDS.

In early 2016 Daniel got endorsed by Ice Stix (Michael Ehre (Gamma Ray), Frederik Ehmke (Blind Guardian) and many more).

In August 2017 our 3rd full-lenght-album “The Occult Mastery” was released by FDA RECORDS (CD, ltd. DIGI-CD and LP).
