BRUTE FORCE OF POWER VIOLENCE!!! FAILURE. Still young Italian blood who will show us at OEF how to play uncompromising power violence!!! The speed and hardness of FAILURE's music is like a speedtrain hitting a wall. For a band that was formed in 2017 as a side project of Ape Unit, FAILURE's name and music has become very well established in the scene, as evidenced by the many shows and festivals where FAILURE has performed their great hardcore/fastcore. They have one EP and one split with fellow Ona Snop, which is worth a listen!!!
The year 2024 will be very fruitful for FAILURE, because they are preparing a big album and a proper tour, which will include a performance at Obscene Extreme!!! This will be a short, fast and loud ride!!!
Bio
Failure started in mid 2017 as a side project of Los and Steve from Ape Unit, who wanted to put togheter some songs of twisted fastcore/powerviolence stuff with some classic hardcore vibes; after recruiting Dave on guitar the band started writing their first 7”, which saw the light of day later that year. In the meantime, we embarked on a spree of gigs around Italy and the rest of Europe, having the chance to play with incredible bands on outstanding stages such as Fluff Fest and Go Fest, between the others. In 2019, after a not-so-hidden love story we released a split with Ona Snop from UK, and keep on playing around, being also part of ChimpyFest 2019 and Tinnitus Fastival, among other things. After a minitour in Germany we had a small line-up change as Dave decided to took part from the band. After a forced stop due to personal reason and – of course – the pandemic – Failure started playin again all over Europe and UK. A new album such as a proper tour is planned for 2024 so better be prepared
