A true legend!!! It's hard to believe, but we managed to invite a band we thought we would never have the chance to see live again. Polish grinders SCHISMOPATHIC!!! A band that is described as the first Eastern European grindcore band with roots in 1987!!! We are sure, a lot of you know their legendary demo tape "Kharkharamaphatic Regurgitator", which is really crushing and which is described by even legends of the Polish grind scene as something that shaped and formed them in the old days!!! SCHISMOPATHIC broke up in 1991, but got back together some time ago in an almost original line-up to kick-start the old machine, which is, of course, very far from being corroded!!!
The proof is their new shredder "The Human Legacy". And OEF will be the first SCHISMOPATHIC concert after their reunion!!! A celebration of grindcore!!!
Bio
SCHISMOPATHIC was founded in 1987 under the name SCHISMOPATHIC TORMENT. In 1988 the band changes its name to SCHISMOPATHIC and a year later records its debut demo named "Kharkharamapathic Regurgitator" with: Jacek B. -bass, Robert F. - guitar and Robert G. - vocals and drums. As a result the band plays a lot of concerts throughout Poland with bands from the top of Polish underground. In 1991, SCHISMOPATHIC records their debut album named "D.E.M.O.C.R.A.C.Y", which, due to the band's suspension, will be released with the first demo and live records in 2013 in CD and a few years later on LP thanx to Selfmadegod Records. Reactivation in 2020 was preceded by a split 7 ”EP with ANTIGAMA released also by Selfmadegod Records. The band reactivated in the original line-up but without Robert G., who was replaced on drums by Janek (also DISHELL, ex-PSYCHONEUROSIS, ex-BOTTOM) and the vocalist was Adrian (also Empheris, Waorath). With this line-up, the band composed and recorded material for the full album named "The Human Legacy", which was released by Selfmadegod Records in may 2021.
