Pure death metal in old-school style with hair spins and vigorous commitment, that was once no rarity in the scene, is becoming a rare phenomenon and today it is crying out for help under the rush of modern influences. It is great that the band PANDEMIA is one of those who arduously keep the beauty of original death metal alive.
PANDEMIA has been around in the scene since 28 years and has played around 600 gigs in more than 30 countries! We are all the more happy to have the original guitarist Alex back in the band after many years making the spirit of history all the more credible. We can't wait, and you?
Bio
PANDEMIA is a death metal band from the Czech Republic established in 1995. Pandemia has released 5 full-length albums, produced by legendary names such as Waldemar Soychta and Andy Classen.
The band has played over 600 live shows in more than 30 countries of the World, including Europe, South, Central and North America. Shows included support for bands such as Death, Morbid Angel, Bolt Thrower, Vader, Kreator, Six Feet Under, Incantation and more.
Original guitarist and founding member Alex returns to the lineup this year, new music is coming out soon in a single format. Pandemia also celebrates the 20th anniversary of the release of their Personal Demon album, coming out on vinyl for the very first time this summer.
The band plans to play live with an old school set of songs from the first three albums, all over the world.
