All of us would like to be young again, and even if you can't turn back time, with the REFORE youngsters we will return to the years of ageless youth, when we were full of energy and ideals. This is exactly how the thrash metal of four young men from White Carpatians works, they are just incredibly full of energy and they know how to deliver it perfectly in their live shows, which are still growing, because REFORE is one of the great promises of the Czech metal scene and everyone knows it!!!

With one album and one EP under their belt, the guys are slowly preparing their next record, which will surely be one of the much expected ones in 2023. So let's keep our fingers crossed that things work out for them and look forward to see REFORE on the stage of Obscene Extreme festival 2023!!! It's gonna be a blast!!!

Bio

The band was formed in small vilage Štítná nad Vláří, Czech Republic, in 2015. Band was named as „Archyva“ but after some time they have changed their name to „Refore“. Much influnenced by classic bands as „Metallica, Sepultura, Kreator, Megadeth, Death and many others“, Refore starts composing their first songs and playing first concerts. In 2018, the band played in a „band competition“ in the Czech Republic and won the entire competition. They gets the opportunity to record first songs. It is later released as a debut EP „Social Failure“.

After a few personnel changes, the band stabilized their line-up. Frantisek Tkadlec (vocals, guitar), Dominik Suchma (drums), Karel Chromacek (bass), Matej Fiser (guitar). After the release of the recording, the band played a lot of concerts in the Czech Republic, where they were discovered by more people. The band has played at festivals like Kafest, Metalgate Czech Death Fest, Metal Madness and more. They played with bands like Napalm Death, Massacre, Hypnos, Malignant Tumour, Fusion Bomb, Freakings, Exorcizphobia and many more. In the fall of 2020, the band entered the studio and recorded their debut album, which was released in March 2021 with the title "Built to Nothing" under small czech label Support Underground.
