Ladies and gentlemen, this time you are listening to South Bohemia!!! KAOSQUAD is one of many represantatives of this fertile scene who have chosen oldschool grindcore to be their style. Estabilished in 2009 when Kozel (now also Lahar) and Viťan, who worked as a two-man project spreading rotten melodies under the name Pyosemia at that time, called the drummer Aleš (ex-Grex, Mururoa) if he could join them on drums. Joint rehearsals went very well and KAOSQUAD saw the light of day.

Traditionally, fucking angry harcore punk belongs for sure to the extreme music styles at OBSCENE EXTREME. That is why we have chosen an antipodean, new but absolutely rad quartet MASTER BLASTER for you. Started just in 2015 releasing their first demo „ You Suck“ followed by a couple of EP´s with „Doomsdays“ EP being an unbelievably intensive and great recording that tops everything else.

Again, after a year, there is a unique football tournament. This time we will fight, except for traditional „rivals“ of Brutal Assault Obscuros, other teams with many stars, Mighty Sounds Rebels and Rock for People´s Ninjas!!!

Reserve your place in the VIP CAMP for greater comfort and safe. Making reservations will be possible only until June 30, 2017. In case that the VIP camping site wouldn´t be sold-out until this date, there will be option to buy VIP camp tickets directly at the festival.

OEF: We made an interview a couple of years ago for Obscene Extreme in Mexico, how are you doing guys? Does the band have any substancial change? Fawaz: We're doing great! We're just working on doing more of what we used to. Take it to another level, play more shows, more studio time. A new album is currently being recorded and we intend on releasing it very soon. 

One of the last bands for the OEF 2017 to be announced is a Polish squad called BOTTOM. This sextet swearing on brutal mix of old school grindcore and hardcore with a modern sound was founded already in 1995. Following two demos, two EP´s and two full-length albums they have released a brand new full-length album titled „Psychofilia“ on Deformeathing Production.

Let us remember the latest volume of OEF and recall the great atmosphere which is there at the Battlefield every year!!!       

OEF: You played some shows with a drum pad, and it was a completely new experience. In my opinion it was very cool. How was the crowd response? Jamie: Yes we played 4 shows with that setup and Mike and I used only iPads for our amps. It was a new experience for us all. Jon has chronic issues with his back and hip and in some cases has a tough time walking, so there was no way he could play his old kit for a prolonged period of time. So basically we used the technology that is available to continue working together and creating music...

One of the last names for OEF 2017 to be announced is the Czech grind attackers called CHOKED BY OWN VOMITS!!!. The boys started the band having a lot of nice lyrics about various ways of secretion in year 2004 and following a demotape, a full-length album and several split releases they have put out their latest effort which is an absolutely grinding opus titled „Shit World“. Many songs in their live set will be definitely taken from this great record.

"Greetings freaks!! Nuclear Assault is very proud to say that we will be appearing at Obscene Extreme 2017! Some of you may say "Wait! I thought that the last Nuclear Assault European performance was at Eindhoven Metal Meeting in December 2015!" You were right, we did say this. 

Gore Death metal masters from Germany are returning to the OEF 2017 stage. The band was established in 1995 playing in the best tradition of slam/gore/groove musick. Following several releases they disbanded to return after five years of hibernation. The two original members Matze and Krüger made the band strong again finding the remaining two members Tob and Mario and the result of their production is their latest effort called „Pimple with Pus“.
