Yeah!!! CHEPANG are returning to the Obscene Extreme festival!!! These Nepalese immigrants, who have curently settled in the USA, are well known to you all. Their wild performance at OEF in 2018 is still fresh in our minds, honestly, who could forget that brutal show, dominated on stage by two drummers!!!
CHEPANG formed in 2016 and, in just over a decade, have carved out a rather prominent place in the extreme music underground. So much so, that their latest album to date, "Jhyappa", was released by the renowned Relapse Records.
Immigrindcore – that’s what CHEPANG themselves call their music and we can look forward to a brutal dose of grindcore mayhem with elements of Nepalese folklore, which is as raw and harsh as a high-altitude camp below the Death Zone on Mount Everest!!!
