THRIF – is a sludge/crust/grind/metal band. Although the band is new the duo are no strangers to playing together. Formed by longtime friends Kasey & Paul who have been releasing a slew of material and playing tons of shows with Bittered (https://bittered.bandcamp.com/ ), Police State ( https://policestategrind.bandcamp.com/) & Mans Plague (https://mansplague.bandcamp.com ) for the last few years (releases below). THRIF “Human Exposed” is their 7th release the DUO has done together in just a span of 2 years. In Addition, Paul has released and album by his long time running band Exterminance (https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Exterminance/22912 ) in 2016 via Lost apparitions Records.
THRIF is not a side project but a dedicated full-time band ready, willing, and able to tour worldwide and are preparing to record a full-length album in spring 2018. The band is currently looking for a label to partner up with for its release.
THRIF’s debut EP “Human Exposed” was recorded Dec 2017 at Oblivion Studios in MD where releases from the likes of Pg. 99, Pulling Teeth, Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Pig Destroyer, Deceased, and many many more have been tracked, mixed, and/or mastered. The “Human Exposed” EP can be downloaded for free via bandcamp (https://thrif.bandcamp.com ) and hard copy CDs will be available January 2018.
