Tato švýcarská horda technických brutalistů bude mít na Obscene Extreme svou premiéru. Nepromeškejte je a nenechte se připravit o skvělý zážitek!!!
Bio
Kakothanasy is a Brutal Death Metal band, from Lausanne, Switzerland, formed in 2010.
The trio is formed by Florent Duployer on the drums, Lionel Testaz on the guitar and vocals and, more recently since 2020, Léo Zrehen on the bass and vocals as well.
The band released its first EP “Paradoxide” in 2014, back then with another singer, Julien Goebel and another bassist, Boris Masur. After a few line-up changes, they released their first full length album called “Dystomorph” in 2019, as a trio without Julien Goebel, where Florent took on the vocals for that album along with Lionel.
Those two releases were out on the Goatgrind Records label, and made the band known to the Brutal Death scene. The band then played some big festivals of the said scene, like Rock The Hell, Berlin Deathfeast, XAPADA, …
After finally finding its current line-up with Léo Zrehen on the bass, in 2020, the band releases a self-release 2-tracks demo in 2023 to announce a new album.
Their latest full-length, called “Metagonism”, was released by Amputated Veins, which reached a more international audience. The album was produced at Léo’s studio, DTR studio and mixed and mastered by Colin Marston, from The Thousand Caves studio.
With this latest album, the band reached higher heights with an overwhelming response from the Brutal Death Metal scene, and playing even more live, by joining the Butcher Booking rooster.
For exemple, they played a tour in the UK in 2025 along Pyrexia, or some big festivals like the Offal Festival or the DeathFeast in 2026.
Now that the band line-up is well bound together, they are currently writing new songs and more than ready to play more live.
