At the end of 2007, 3 dipshits from Merchtem (Belgium) who grew up on G.I.Joe, Pokémon and FC De Kampioenen, got tired of all the local boring bullshit bands and decided to start a band of their own. A pianist was enrolled on drums, a bassplayer started playing guitar and a smelly bastard was forced to "sing". Idiot Convention was born. They released a demo CD that sold out faster than you can say “I did not have sexual intercourse with that woman” and played some shows all over Belgium. In the summer of 2009 Michael Jackson finally died and Idiot Convention released a 72-song split tape with Agathocles. More stages got trashed. In 2010 the band kept working on new songs for a few compilations and a new 7 inch EP, to be released early 2011.
