Agrotoxico is a brazilian band formed on the suburbs of São Paulo in 1993.

Since then, always following a style focused on Hardcore Punk, the band has never had periods of inactivity having toured several times in Brazil and Europe playing in the entire underground scene and in major festivals such as Rebellion (England), Obscene Extreme (Czech Republic) , Force Attack (Germany), Vive Le Punk (France), Resist (Germany), Ieper (Belgium) among others, reaching with this, the position of one of the most recognized Brazilian bands of its style in the World and especially in the European continent, where all their albums were released in countries like Germany, England, France, etc.

During this period, Agrotoxico released 8 albums, a documentary DVD and was part in several compilations around the world.

The lyrics of Agrotoxico speak about different social themes, from violence in big cities, wars, ecology, politics, etc, always within the libertarian and anti-fascist left scene.

In 2022 the band entered in studio to record 3 new singles (and also the song Dr. Rock to be part of an international Motörhead tribute V/A). At the end of the year, the music video for the song “Epidemia” was also released.

In 2023 the band has released the album “Era do Caos”, a reinterpretation of their first album entitled “Caos 1998”, which, like their other albums, is already being distributed in Brazil and Europe on CD and Vinyl. In 2023 the band has returned to Europe were performed several concerts in countries like Germany, Holland, Austria and Czech Republic.

Their first “best of” album is also in the works, which will also be released in Europe where the band tours again on summer of 2024.

The current band’s line-up is: Marcos (Guit/Vocals), Jef (Bass/Vocals), Arthur (Guit/Vocals) and Edu (Drums).
