VITAMIN X from Amsterdam, Holland are the true pioneers of the second wave of this energetic style. A great mix of hardcore, thrash, punk with a sprinkling of catchy rock and roll is exactly what the moshpit at the Battlefield will turn up to high speed!!! VITAMIN X rose at the beginning of the millennium to crush us for the last 25 years not only with their music, but also with really energetic shows, which they are famous for!!!

Bio

Amsterdam's iconic thrashers Vitamin X are gearing up for an explosive return with their brand new album, set for release in 2025! Pioneers of the early 2000s hardcore and thrash scene, they’ve crafted a signature style that fuses hardcore punk, thrash, crossover metal, and a dose of classic rock and roll. The band's high-octane energy, furious riffs, and epic solos have earned them a reputation for delivering relentless and unforgettable live performances.

Vitamin X has released several classic albums through labels like Tankcrimes and Southern Lord, and their collaboration with legendary producer Steve Albini (famous for his work with Nirvana and Iggy Pop) cemented their place in underground music history. Their globe-spanning tours have taken them from Japan to South America, gracing the stages of festivals like Hellfest, Maryland Death Fest, and fan-favorite Obscene Extreme.

The animated music video for their song "About To Crack" went viral, surpassing 2 million views, earning a Vimeo Staff Pick, and making appearances on BBC/Channel 4 and Havoc TV.
