Hailing from Nottingham, England The Vile are a four piece punk band featuring current members of The Varukers and members who have played in bands such as Discharge, Warwound, Hellkrusher and Anti system to name a few. 

The Vile deliver no nonsense hard punk with no compromise and have been playing stages worldwide since 2011. 

They have released seven records to date and are currently working on a new album due for release end of 2024.

The bands first release was a 7inch single released for the queen of englands last jubilee in 2012  it was cover versions of sex pistols songs side a god save the queen and b side belson was a gas released on the uk label punk stuff, then in 2013 havoc records in the usa released in a joint venture with the band a 5 track 12inch ep titled provocation , then in 2014 hevoc records released the bands 2nd 7inch a 3 track event called fear of the truth, in 2014 all the bands recordings were released on one album titled punk, disorder, chaos destruction released on the vile record label , came released on coloured vinyl and a very controversial poster (her majesty the queen with a black eye ),in 2022 3 tracks off the provocation 12inch were released on a split record with doomed again a band from greece , this was put together and released by usa label driller bastard productions , just recently the viles provocation release came out on a split cd release with the band  english dogson brazilian label criminal attack .  the vile are currently working on material for  a new album ,due for release end of 2025.
