Info
Power violence detonation!!! SKIPLIFE, until recently just a new band, is now a fully established extreme force, driving forward one of the most extreme styles - power-violence!!! And they're really good at it. And why wouldn't they be, given that we're dealing here with a quartet of veterans of the hardcore scene.
Short, fast and loud explosions – that's exactly what SKIPLIFE's songs sound like, and their gigs are highly sought after because SKIPLIFE manage to brilliantly bring these heavy projectiles to the stage!!! Anyone who's ever seen them live will surely agree!!! Appearing at OEF for the second time, and just like the first time, you certainly won't forget these three gentlemen and one lady!!!
Bio
Czech power violence disciples featuring members of late 90s OG Czech bands such as LYCANTHROPHY and MINDLOCK. Relentless, blasting pummel-core, heavily influenced by the originators of West Coast power violence like NO COMMENT, DESPISE YOU, and the SLAP-A-HAM Records catalog but with a special debt to stop/go thrash violence of INFEST and LACK OF INTEREST. Maximum tempos, tense stop/start riffs, and the most tortured barking caveman vocals ever. Coming back to OEF, where in 2021 they played their second show ever. Since then SKIPLIFE have managed to assault stages in Central Europe, tour Japan and become the first Czech band with multiple releases on the legendary label 625 Productions. And in 2027 they are hailing with new material recorded for the splits with LACK OF INTEREST from Los Angeles and ANF from Palermo, mixed by Phil from DESPISE YOU in his LA based Veracuda Studios. MAKE POWER VIOLENCE SKATE AGAIN!
