ONWARD AT A HELL SPEED!!! Belgian SCHIZOPHRENIA!!! Absolutely without a doubt one of the hardest working underground bands of today, constantly touring and active in the field of their recordings, and incredibly sympathetic guys. All this predestines them to become one of the great bands and we will have them here at Battlefield for the second time. I'm sure you all know them, thanks to their intense touring, so just briefly. Formed in 2020 in Antwerp, Belgium.

Apart from two EPs, they also have a great debut and a live recording that shows how good these guys are!!! Death/Thrash of the best flavor!!! Already, when we invited them in 2021, we recognized their potential and we are happy that SCHIZOPHRENIA will be here for the second time!!! These guys are really pushing it forward with hell of a step!!!

Bio

Back in January 2020, SCHIZOPHRENIA came out of nowhere with their debut EP ‘VOICES' tohit the Extreme Metal underground like a bomb. The big question was: would these youngstersfrom Antwerp, Belgium be able to top this with their debut full-length album? Answer: WOW, HELL YES!

SCHIZOPHRENIA have crafted a pure Deathrash diamond on which the band is displayingeverything that Extreme Metal has made so legendary over the past decades! On top of theuncompromising ferocity and groove of the ‘VOICES' EP, their debut full-lengthRECOLLECTIONS OF THE INSANE is going even further in every aspect, sometimes evenflirting with some melodic Death/Black Metal influences! Morbid Angel, Demolition Hammer,Slayer, early Sepultura, Dissection, Death, At The Gates, Obituary, Bolt Thrower, Pestilence...if anyof these bands already gets you going, then imagine a blend of all those bands combined withSCHIZOPHRENIA’s unique and fresh interpretation of Extreme Metal!
