SHORT, FAST AND LOUD!!! This band is a big surprise for us. We remember well SCREAM PROTEST! from the end of the nineties as a grinding project of Dutch and Belgian musicians. After some time, this project went silent when the guys formed the band F.U.B.A.R., but after more than twenty years, I SCREAM PROTEST! is getting back together in the trio of Bas, Mark and Paul to breathe new energy into the project and believe me, it's worth it!!!
Total Grind/Hardcore style firefight, simply short, fast and loud tornado that will crush everything alive!!! I SCREAM PROTEST!! released a demo, but there is new material for a split record and a new big solo album on horizon!!! Awesome music to the furious moshpit and we are glad that these guys will show us for the first time at the Battlefield what it's all about!!!
Bio
I scream protest started up as a project. Formed at the end of the 90’s between members of different bands.playing fast and the old school way of Grindcore. After some shows and parting with the vocalist the band fell in to a sabbatical.The 3 remaining members Bas, Mark & Paul started a new band named F.u.b.a.r.More than 20 years later we had the feeling it was the right time to get out of sabbatical. Starting to practice again in the end of 2022 and recorded the first demo in 2023.Doing some shows at some fine festivals like BloodshedFest and Grind the Nazi scum got us back in the game of playing some Hardcore influenced short, fast and loud Grindcore.Recently recorded some new songs for a split Lp with the Belgium powerviolence heroes from Travøta.
Members are still Bas Van Geffen: Vocals and Bass guitar, Mark Verkuijlen: Vocals and guitar & Paul Niessen on drums
