Long-time OEF fans know very well that EYEHATEGOD already performed at our festival in 2014, and we are still absorbing that completely psychedelic experience. Formed in 1988, they turned 90s punk and metal upside down and created a unique sound that has been copied by thousands of bands. They combined muddy riffs and robust rhythms with Mike Williams' twisted poetry, all underpinned by an intimidating barricade of noise and guitar feedback.
They could be called the fathers of sludge, but EYEHATEGOD themselves describe their music as "Down To Earth Motherfucken Post Amplification Blues" and we couldn't agree more! With a string of cult, genre-defining albums, including their aggressive 1990 debut "In The Name Of Suffering," they have delivered unforgettably dense, massive, and catchy anthems that every fan of sonic extremes loves!!! Narcotic mass of slow grinding, that's EYEHATEGOD!!! And they're back at OEF!!!
