Dear Loyal Grind Fans,

Due to human rights violations and ongoing tribunal actions, Abu Ghraib will be unable to attend the legendary Obscene Extreme Festival this year. It has been a lifelong dream of ours to share the stage with so many of our idols, and also to share our music with all you Grind Maniacs.

This time the dream has eluded us. We are extremely disappointed that we are unable to play the festival, words cannot describe how crushed we are.

A huge thanks to Čurby for organising the event, his endless and tireless work to make this event happen is unparalleled.Equally we thank all of you loyal grind lunatics for your undying support and relentless commitment to us and to Grindcore worldwide.

So go out there and go crazy, make it the best OEF to date - you gotta make up for missing 2020 year right?! And remember, YOU'RE ONLY A PRISONER IF YOU SURRENDER!

FORGOTTEN SILENCE apologize, but due to works on new album and related time consumption we are not able to play show (which was being postponed for 2 years) on Obscene Extreme Fest 2022. We apologize to everyone, who was looking forward for this show and we hope to see you soon.

PURE

We are sorry to announce that the grindcore gang PURE will not be able to attend this year's Obscene Extreme festival.

It's not just OEF, but at this point we don't know if this project will even go ahead anymore as there is a lack of time to rehearse together, but mainly the prolonged illness of one of the band members, which really makes any live playing impossible at the moment. So we have decided to put the PURE project on hiatus and time will tell what and how. If we will continue, in what way and with what line-up.

In the meantime, we wish everyone good health, a large portion of quality music and have a great time at OEF 2022!!!
