Travelling over 7,000 km - MACABRE returns to the Fest they truly embrace and belong at – the freak friendly Obscene Extreme – full of angst after having to miss the two previous years of sickness, the time is finally coming! 

Another batch of bands that can't come and play at OEF this year.

One of Europe's top sludge/stoner bands hailing from Poland. It's none other than the stoner lovers BELZEBONG. The band comes from Kielce and was founded in 2008. The essential hallmark of this band is that they won't bother you with singing during their production. 

Due to the cooperation of Pivovar Proud and the Obscene Extreme festival, we are honored to present a beer brewed especially for this year's OEF. 

This female quartet obsessed with death metal is called CRYPTA!!! The band exists only since 2019, but is already quite well known in our country, because it was formed around the former frotwomen of Nervosa, Fernanda Lira. 

This music and its members seem to have escaped from a psychiatric hospital. Well say, to name a band after a massage whisk intertwined in the strings of an acoustic guitar takes a bit of courage!!! 

This year's real sludge of Wednesday's „festival of weird riffs“ will be played by the band CHLAD!!! A bunch that swears by heavy metal origins when Tony Iommi unleashed his first black sabbath riff. And exactly on the brink of this sound of old metal with a mixture of really cold doom, stoner and very dark atmosphere CHLAD is moving!!! 

The beasts are back! I guess the first idea coming up to your mind in connection with Malty is buying a leisure house or an exotic holiday on the island. In the context of death metal, many people will think of a tornado called BEHEADED, that has been solidifying this extreme style since 1991! 

Another new band with old faces, IDIOCRACY!!! After the near-breakup of the South Bohemian Gride, guitarist Puffy approached his friends to start a new band. 

If you like it ragged, dirty and fucking noisy, you can't get away!!! Prague's beast SLAVERY will bring us these props on a larger than large scale. 

Razor sharp, extremely aggressive!!! So these are some comparisons of the music of these Czech thrashers, calling themselves MURDER INC.!!! 

Another of the new acquisitions on the Obscene Extreme festival stage is the French grindcore gang CIVILIAN THROWER!!! Total old school grindcore in the style of legends of the genre Warsore or Excruciating Terror played at maximum intensity!!!

What do you need to come to Obscene this year? Nothing at all! All measures against covid-19 have been lifted in the Czech Republic, so you can finally come again without restrictions. The ban on foreigners has been lifted, as well as the need to prove infection-free status.  You don't need masks, tests or an electronic entry form.

Funebre, Xysma and CONVULSE were the first three pioneers in Finland all releasing their debut death metal albums in 1991. CONVULSE came out with that dark, brutal, uncompromising style of Death Metal that became the trademark of the Finish scene.
