DEALERS OF COLOMBIAN THRASH!!! Another band that will make its debut at the Obscene Extreme festival. This time it will be Colombian thrash/hardcore maniacs POISON THE PREACHER!!! Formed in 2021, they have been playing severe music with a huge dose of fury from the very beginning, as a Latin American band can do. POISON THE PREACHER also have very strong musical skills and their music is very mature and definitely comparable to the top bands in their musical genre!!!

It wasn't long ago that POISON THE PREACHER released their debut album "Vs the World," and believe me, it's worth listening to. There will also be plenty much to see, because POISON THE PREACHER have already played many live shows, and their videos promise some wild performances!!! Let's get ready to sniff great thrash!!!

Bio

Poison the Preacher is a Colombian Thrash/Hardcore band that seeks to combine all the sounds they love into a single voice, blending old-school principles with modern touches. Inspired by the style of newer bands like Power Trip and Drain, as well as classics like Slayer and Terror, the band has developed a unique sound and aesthetic that has earned them a place in both the national and international scenes despite their short trajectory.

They have performed at major events such as Rock al Parque 2023, opening for Overkill in front of 70,000 people, Tattoo Music Fest 2024, 100% Hardcore Bogotá Festival, Off Limits MX Festival, and various shows across Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, and Europe.

They have shared the stage with renowned artists like Suffocation, Overkill, Merauder, Agnostic Front, In Flames, Zulu, Sworn Enemy, Integrity, Sunami, Bulldoze, No Pressure, Big Boy, Toxic Holocaust, Crisix, Ostia Puta, Exciter, BAT, and Gorilla Biscuits.

The band has released five singles and one split, and in May 2025, they released their debut album "Vs The World" under the American label Seek & Strike.

Looking ahead, the band is preparing for their next European tour in the summer of 2026, along with a new release planned for the same year.
