THE LAST ARGUMENT!!! MOŽNOST VOLBY? is the name of a project that commemorates the uncrowned kings of Czech extreme music, Gride, and their seminal album released in 1999 as a split album with another now buried extreme band, Mrtvá Budoucnost!!! After Gride broke up, the idea arose to delight fans a few more times and play this album from A to Z, and because punk and grind are not about waiting but about doing, the main man Čert surrounded himself with deserving players from the Czech extreme music scene, and the project MOŽNOST VOLBY? saw the light of day!!!
However, the guys are only planning a few concerts before bring MOŽNOST VOLBY? to an end forever. And the very last one will be at Obscene Extreme 2026, where the guys will show us a complete lobotomy with their extreme music!!! This will not be a story with an open ending, but truly the last argument!!!
Bio
At Obscene Extreme 2024, it all began. Vosák from Lycanthrophy threw an idea at Čert from Gride – to form a band that would play Gride’s first album Možnost volby?
And since punk and grind aren’t about waiting but about doing, they dove right in. Together with Šupin (Lycanthrophy), Brzo DoHrobu (Lady Gaza), and Nela (Gorc), they created the project Možnost volby? with a single goal – to blow up the stage exactly the way it all started back then.
The first show took place in September 2025 in České Budějovice – and it was a blast.
This year and next, there’ll be a few more special events, all leading up to a total explosion at Obscene Extreme 2026!
