GRINDCORE DECOMPOSITION!!! One of the last bands we will introduce for Obscene Extreme 2026 will be these American grinders, EAT THE DECAY. Formed in 2022, so the band is still relatively unknown, but EAT THE DECAY consists of four guys who have been active on the scene since the 90s, so don't expect any youngsters, but a well-oiled grindcore machine that fucking kills!!!
EAT THE DECAY plays grindcore and mixes it brilliantly with death metal and noise elements. For fans of early Repulsion, Extreme Noise Terror, or Agathocles, EAT THE DECAY's premiere at Battlefield will be a must-see!!! Listen to their only album so far, "Nefarious Means," and know that by OEF 2026, there will be another recording, a split with the Czech band Sick Sinus Syndrome!!! Here, grindcore reigns supreme!!!
Bio
E.T.D. out of Texas was formed in April 2022 with the intention of mixing grindcore, crust, death metal and noise influenced by early carcass, early napalm death, early terrorizer, repulsion, agathocles, extreme noise terror, etc. Aka the classic bands of 80s/early 90s. The band members are Francisco Pulido (guitar/vocals), JD De La Rosa (drums), Charles Sepulveda (bass) , and Matt Juarez (vocals). E.T.D. aren't newcomers to the scene as the members have been actively making noise since the early 90s. "Just because we're old and gray doesn't mean we'll go away!"
