In 2027, this legendary grindcore milestone celebrates its 40th anniversary, and who better to celebrate it with than our old friends NAPALM DEATH at OBSCENE EXTREME!!! The band that helped create the foundations of grindcore. The band whose name has become synonymous with uncompromising extreme music. And, most importantly, a band that after four decades still refuses to slow down, play safe or become some museum piece from the past. NAPALM DEATH are still furious, still relevant and still pushing extreme music forward!!!

And there is another anniversary of sorts – 2027 will mark NAPALM DEATH’s fifth appearance at OBSCENE EXTREME!!! After all these years, it is almost impossible to imagine OEF history without Barney, Shane, Danny and John. These guys are not just one of the most important bands in grindcore history, they are part of our festival family!!!

So get ready for a very special return to the OEF! Four decades of "Scum"!! Four decades of noise, speed, anger and uncompromising attitude!! And one of the bands that started this whole fucking thing!!!

NAPALM DEATH!!! 40 YEARS OF SCUM!!!
