SICK, ROTTING AND BLOOD-SOAKED DEATH METAL FROM PRAGUE: SNĚŤ!!!

Formed in early 2018 at damp and dirty basements of Prague, a new five-piece band came into its rotting existence. SNĚŤ (meaning in English - gangrenous necrosis) is a type of tissue death caused by a lack of blood supply.

Symptoms may include a change in skin color to red or black, numbness, swelling, pain and skin breakdown. Pretty much what you can expect while listening to their show. Crushing heavy riffs, sick melodies, two harsh vocals and punkish vibe make their shows very intensive and catching.

The band consists of musicans with various experience that’s why their rotting death metal is so gripping. They have experience from bands like Vole, Kaosquad, Bahratal, Morkhimmel, Lezok or Ficken Leben. The members are very active in the local underground metal and punk scene through Kreas Promotion, which helped them to perform several great shows with bands like Spectral Voice, Galvanizer, Funebrarum, Impetuous Ritual, Krypts, Malokarpatan and Occvlta plus some shows in Germany and Austria.

SNĚŤ recorded its two-track promo tape during winter 2018 at Prague’s Dödsmord Studio studio with Anders Axelsson mixing and mastering. It immediatelly caught attention the label Lycathrophic Chants and this April 2019 release was quickly sold out. The band is planning to record a six songs EP at Dödsmord studio again in March 2020 to be released via Blood Harvest and Lycanthropic Chants. Expect to hear a blood-soaked rotting death metal during one very dark OEF night!!!
